Produced in 1996, Long Distance Lovers is the culmination of a lifetime of experience, living and traveling, and being apart from the ones you love. Recorded on the road in hotel rooms, garages, falling down kitchens with kids, budgies and mad dogs howling squawking and barking it is a major achievement and a testimony not only to Dave's writing ability but his command of varied production techniques and the instruments he plays.

All the material included on the CD is self-penned with his partner Alice, who also features in vocals on many of the tracks. Instrumental back-up comes from some of the top musicians currently working in both Germany and the UK.
